Matthew Hayden

Managing Director

Since retiring from all forms of international cricket, Matthew has focused on building a career as a businessman, media personality, speaker, and cricket commentator (India). He is currently brand ambassador for a range of national and international brands including Century Batteries, Mahindra (automotive and farm machinery), and Northern Territory Tourism. Through his many philanthropic projects, he is also involved with a range of Australia’s leading companies, including Macquarie Bank and Shimano.

With a long and storied history of giving back – and also inspiring others to do so – he is currently involved in supporting more than a dozen charities and not-for-profit organisations around Australia. In both his business ventures and charity ventures, Matthew believes in building long-term relationships with good people who aim to do good things.

Away from business, media, public speaking and charitable duties, he is also a renowned cook, fisherman, outdoorsman and family man. His mum calls him Matthew. His friends and old teammates call him ‘Haydos’. But to the rest of Australia, and to cricketing fans all over the world, he’s simply known as “Matty!”
